Homicide Investigation In North Fork

NORTH FORK — The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Brandunn Wilson, who is wanted in connection with a murder that occurred in Madera County.
Around 10:30 pm on March 12, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots fired at a residence in the 33000 block of Road 222 in North Fork.
Deputies arrived and located a 38-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies rendered medical aid to the victim until EMS arrived and transported him to a regional hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
MCSO Detectives’ preliminary investigation revealed information that 28-year-old Brandunn Wilson was involved in the murder of the 38-year-old male. Wilson is currently outstanding.

The identity of the victim will not be released at this time.
Detectives believe this was a personal dispute between the involved parties, and there is no immediate danger to the community.
