OAKHURST — Stop by Yosemite High School for some merry-making this week, as the Theater Arts Department presents Holiday Shenanigans, a one night comedy variety show that features 25 students from YHS’s Advanced Theater Arts class.
“It’s a celebration of the holidays and a chance to laugh and enjoy the spirit of the season with family and friends,” says department chair Lars Thorson.
“The show will have a short play about elves who are treated poorly by Santa Claus and determined to fight back, a student-written skit called Fruitcake Man, about how holiday fruitcake changed one man forever, some songs, and some improvisations that gently poke fun at holiday traditions.”
Curtains rise for one night only on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. and the cost is just $5 at the door.
Family and friends are invited to enjoy the production as these talented thespians embrace the holidays.
