Grizzly Century Bike Rally Celebrates 20 Years

On Saturday, Oct. 6, grab your bike and join the Griz for the 20th anniversary of the North Fork Fall Festival! Which Griz? The Grizzly Century bike rally, of course!

Many organizations in North Fork, Calif., will be cooperatively celebrating 20 years of the Fall Festival through various events presented in the community.

The North Fork History Group (NFHG) will be presenting “20 Years of Grizzly Century Art: 1993 – 2012” in the Town Hall, while the Bass Lake Ranger District Employees Association cooks its renowned barbecue dinner for the bicyclists and the townsfolk.

The NFHG, in cooperation with the King Vintage Museum of Oakhurst, will display historic clothing as well as paraphernalia from the 20 years of the Grizzly Century bike runs. The Lions Club will host a breakfast, so you’ll be ready to ride!

The ride starts from the North Fork Elementary School at 7 a.m. There will be 100-mile, 100-kilometer and ‘Loop-the-Lake’ routes. The Grizzly Century is the secret bike run everyone wants to share!
