Grace Community Church to Provide Christmas Food Baskets

NORTH FORK — Each year, Grace Community Church makes Christmas food baskets available for the residents of North Fork. This year they will follow the same practices as last year since Covid-19 is still driving their precautions. There will be no advance signups, and the pickup of the food will be a drive-through on the church campus. Volunteers will place the food in your car while you wait in the car.

This year they will provide the items for a Christmas dinner on a first-come, first serve basis on Wednesday, December 22, between 10 a.m. and noon.

If you would like to participate financially, please send a donation to Grace Community Church, P.O. Box 193, North Fork, CA 93643, with “Christmas Baskets” on the memo line. Or, you can donate on the church’s website (www.gccuccnf.org) using the “Givelify” button. Or, you can contact Sandy at 559-760-4950. Any amount would be welcomed. As an example, the cost of the items for a dinner for 4 is about $30. In the past, we have provided dinner items for families in size from one to 16 people. Our sincere thanks to those who have donated in the past as well as those who have already donated this year.

Happy holidays, everyone!

This program one of many provided by Grace Community Church to help ease some of the challenges of providing nutritious food to those in need in the North Fork community. We sincerely hope you will help us with this endeavor. And, we invite you to join us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for our worship service (masks and social distancing apply). All are welcome at the little white church on the curve coming into town!
