Fullmer’s Appliance Repair Changes Ownership After 41 Years

OAKHURST — After 41 years of serving the community, Fullmer’s Appliance Repair has officially sold its business to Appliance Service Plus. Thus, this marks the end of an era for the family-owned company, which was established in 1983 by Lynn and Christy Fullmer, along with Guy and Ila Fullmer. Over the years, three generations of the Fullmer family have contributed to the company’s long-standing reputation for reliable service.

A Family Legacy Comes to a Close

Earlier this week, owner Ryan Fullmer announced the transition, explaining that the decision allows his family to pursue new careers. His father, Lynn, and stepmother, Julie, retired and relocated to South Dakota. Now, Ryan and his wife, Regina, are also shifting their focus to new opportunities.

Gratitude for Decades of Support

Looking back, Ryan and Regina Fullmer expressed gratitude to the community for their decades of support, emphasizing how the business grew thanks to their trust and loyalty.

Ryan stated, “We want to thank the entire community for the many years of support and trust you placed in our family business. We have been blessed over the years by your patronage and your trust to handle your appliance repair needs.”

Though the family has stepped away from the appliance repair industry, they look forward to remaining active members of the community.

“Regina and I are not moving away and hope to see you around town!” Ryan said.

Meanwhile, customers will still find support for their appliance repair needs through Appliance Service Plus. Owner Peter leads the Fresno-based company, which has earned a strong reputation for its expertise and service.

Fullmer expressed confidence in the new provider, stating, “We have known the owner of this business for many years and have experienced nothing but excellence from Peter and his crew. We are confident that you will receive the best possible service and repair from this organization.”
