AHWAHNEE — The Grove Church in Ahwahnee is hosting a free BBQ for all Veterans and their families on Saturday, August 27th.
If you are a veteran living in or around the area pack up your family or come alone and enjoy an amazing free BBQ at the Grove Church.
Pastor Nick Carey is himself a retired Marine and is very active in building a veterans ministry. Offering a monthly free BBQ to all veterans and their family is another way of saying thank you and showing appreciation.
The free Veterans BBQ happens the last Saturday of every month.
The event will begin at 11:00 am and will last until 1:00 pm.
If you have never been to the Grove Church it’s just right off Highway 49 before you get to the Hitching Post.
So if you’re a veteran and you are hungry, then come on down to The Grove to get some grub and fellowship with other veterans.
