OAKHURST — The 31st Annual Oakhurst Fall Festival is happening soon. This event is being organized by the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce. Therefore, there will feature live music, carnival rides, food booths, and specialty vendors showcasing handmade crafts and collectables. As the largest annual event in Oakhurst, it draws many visitors and residents from across the area.
Live Music & Entertainment
To begin, live music will be featured throughout the festival, with a variety of genres to offer:
- Friday, October 11th
- Juli Stamer at 3 p.m.
- Acoustically Speaking at 4 p.m.
- Yosemite Jazz Band from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Dixieland & Traditional Jazz)
- Saturday, October 12th
- Jim Savarino at 10 a.m.
- Nicole & Terry Hoke at 11:30 a.m.
- Turf In The Bog at 1:30 p.m. (Irish tunes)
- Whiskey Creek Band from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Rock, Country,
- Sunday, October 13th
- Bob & Deena at 10 a.m.
- Jason Marshall at 11 a.m.
- The Executive Rockers from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Additionally, roaming circus acts will entertain guests on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will also include balloon animals, face painting, games, and carnival rides for children. Ride tickets will be sold separately for the festival admission.
Event Schedule
- Friday, October 11th: 3 p.m.- 9 p.m.
- Saturday, October 12th: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Sunday, October 13th: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Moreover, tickets for the festival will cost $5 a person and will be valid for all three days. On the same note, children aged 5 and under will receive free admission. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate during the event.
Furthermore, the Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilion will be open for adults over the age of 21. Also, the pavilion will operate on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local breweries, including South Gate Brewing Company and 1850 Brewing Company, will provide beer tastings. Sierra Cider will be there to offer hard cider. In turn, local wineries such as Idle Hour Winery, Queen’s Inn, and Casto Oaks will serve wine tastings. Last but not least, souvenir tasting glasses and tickets can be purchased at the pavilion entrance.
Location & Additional Information
Finally, the Oakhurst Fall Festival will be held at Oakhurst Community Park, located near Highway 41 and Highway 49. Festival-goers can follow the signs to the event.
