Fall Festival Season is Well Underway

This fall there are a whole host of events to attend at Yosemite’s southern gateway of Madera County. The 24th Annual Coarsegold Tarantula Awareness Festival, the Bass Lake Halloween Carnival and Pomegranate Fruit and Nut Festival are all happening, get the details and get in on the fun!

The Sweet Taste of Victory

Quady Winery, the only winery in California to specialize in sweet and aperitif wines, recently won big at the Los Angeles Invitational Wine & Spirits Challenge. The Elysium Black Muscat won Best of Show, the Electra Moscato won Best of Class and the Essensia Orange Muscat won gold. These wines are obviously delicious on their own, and can be used to elevate incredible cocktails and desserts!

Halloween Limited Train

The Halloween Limited at Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad is spooktacular fun. Tickets include BBQ dinner, trick-or-treating, and a steam train ride under the stars. Enjoy the campfire story time and fun costumes, October 28 – 30. Dogs are welcome too, so bring the entire family.
