Don’t Miss the Free Bulky Waste Drop-off Event

MADERA COUNTY–The Madera County Public Works Department is pleased to share that the mountain area contract franchise hauler Emadco Disposal will be holding the first ever FREE Bulky Waste drop-off event for eastern Madera county residents on November 9th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

This event represents one of several free services included in the recent county-approved mountain area waste collection contract extension.

This free event is for Madera County residents only. Proof of residency will be checked at the entrance. Items from businesses will not be accepted.

Location: Outback Industrial Way, O’Neals

Limit of 4 bulky items and up to 9 tires per household.

  • Chairs
  • Sofa
  • Recliner
  • Dresser
  • Desk
  • Washer
  • Dryer
  • Water Heaters
  • Appliances
  • Electronics
  • Mattresses
  • Box Spring

All loads must be properly covered/secured. Other restrictions may apply.

NOT ACCEPTED

  • Hazardous Waste
    (Paint, Aerosols, Batteries, Chemicals, etc.)
  • Commercial Waste
  • Dead Animals
  • Tractor Tires
  • Construction Waste
    (Dirt, Concrete, Drywall)
  • Radioactive Waste
  • Treated Wood
  • Asbestos
  • Liquid Waste
  • Sewage/Sludge
  • Large Bulky Item (Hot Tub, etc.)
  • NO HOUSEHOLD WASTE
