MARIPOSA COUNTY — This is a comprehensive list of all the evacuation areas and road closures from Cal Fire as of 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 23. (See updates from following days at the bottom of the page).

2. Highway 140 from Hwy 49 South to Old Highway North- Reduced to an Advisory
3. Highway 49 North from Hwy 140 to Lemme Lane- Reduced to an Advisory
4. Highway 49N from Mariposa to Fremont Fort – Reduced to an Advisory
5. Mt. Bullion Cutoff Rd- From 49N to 72b -Reduced to an Advisory
6. School Lane – Reduced to an Advisory
7. Rd 72A – Reduced to an Advisory
8. Princeton Rd- From 49N to 72b Only – Reduced to an Advisory

9. All Roads off of Hwy 140 remain closed – Closure Lifted (7/23/17 at 1200)

17. Guadalupe Fire Road at Old Hwy – Closure Lifted (7/23/17 at 1800)

19. Old Hwy between Yaqui Gulch and Guadalupe Fire Road – Closure Lifted (7/23/17 at 1800)
20. Hwy 49N between Fremont Fort and Crown Lead Road – Hard Closure in effect
21. Greeley Hill Road and Dogtown Road east of Main Street – Hard Closure in effect

As of 8 a.m. on Monday, July 24, evacuations were lifted in the following areas for residents only:

  • Mt. Bullion Cuttoff Road
  • Agua Fria Road
  • Princeton Road

At noon on Tuesday, July 25, evacuation orders were lifted for residents only on Lower Dogtown Road from J132 to Wagner Road (Wagner Road remains closed). These areas will remain under an evacuation advisory.

Also at noon, evacuation advisories were lifted for South County Mariposa.

At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, evacuation orders were lifted for residents only in these areas, but they remain under an advisory to be prepared:

  • Dogtown Road from Wagner to Holtzel Road
  • Ernst Road – Including all side roads
  • Wagner Road – Including all side roads
  • Schilling Road – Including all side roads
  • Holtzel Road – Including all side roads
  • Briceburg Area- River Road from Briceburg to North Fork Falls, including all Briceburg area campgrounds.

All other evacuation orders remain in effect, including:

  • Texas Hill Road
  • Dogtown Road east of Holtzel
  • Old Yosemite Road
  • Bull Creek Road.

Road Closures in the Area:

  • Dogtown Road – Closed at Wampum Hill Trailer Village
  • Texas Hill Road – Closed at Dogtown
  • Old Yosemite / Bull Creek Road

At 5 p.m., evacuation orders were lifted for residents only on Dogtown Road from Holtzel to Wampum Hill.
