Since April 2021, CSRF and its volunteers have planted 39,990 seedlings through the Seedlings of Hope program! Read on to learn how you can be a part of their next spring planting!

CSRF’s ‘Seedlings of Hope’ to Host Spring Planting Workdays

SHAVER LAKE — In Partnership with the Creek Fire Recovery Collaborative, Sierra Resource Conservation District, and the Arbor Day Foundation, the Central Sierra Resiliency Fund’s Seedlings of Hope program will be hosting planting workdays this month.

Breakfast and water will be provided, however, volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles.

Close-toed shoes, long pants, gloves, and sun protection are encouraged.

Additional information will be provided upon registering.

Workday Schedule

8 a.m. – Returning landowner check-in.
9 a.m. – New landowner & volunteer check-in & breakfast.
9:30 a.m. – Tree planting demonstration & plantings.
