Crews Respond To Report Of Fire At North Fork Pizza Factory

NORTH FORK – At 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, firefighters were called out to the Pizza Factory in North Fork for reports of a structure fire.

The report came after power went out in the Pizza Factory, and owner Greg Kissee went downstairs to investigate. He discovered smoke billowing out of the room where the electrical breakers are located and immediately called 911.

Sierra National Forest Engines 51 and 12 arrived promptly on scene along with Cal Fire Engines 4255 and 4260.

Power was lost throughout the entire three story building, which houses Hair Care Plus, the Post Office, and several apartments.

The fire has since been called contained and the cause is being investigated. All other resources were called off.

There was no report of damage to the building itself.
