Corrine Fire Evacuations Lifted This Afternoon

NORTH FORK – Cal Fire is announcing that as of 1 p.m. today, Sunday, June 21, all evacuations for the Corrine Fire will be lifted, and residents will be allowed to return home.

This includes the entire closure area on Road 222 from North Fork to Kerckoff Reservoir. All of Road 225 was reopened yesterday afternoon.

Fire equipment and personnel will continue to work in the area, and residents are advised to use caution when returning to their homes. There are still over 1,400 firefighters, overhead and support staff assigned to the incident.
