MADERA COUNTY–Rebecca Martinez, County Clerk-Recorder & Registrar of Voters, announced today that all registered voters in the County of Madera will be sent their Official Ballots and County Voter Information Guides for the upcoming November 5, 2024, Consolidated General Election in the mail.
The mailing of the ballots will begin October 7th.
Allow 2-5 days for delivery.

Ballot tracking is now available and it’s FREE! Ballot tracking is a service that will send you notice about your ballot, including when it’s mailed, received, and counted. Know where your ballot is every step of the way! Go to www.wheresmyballot.sos.ca.gov to sign up.

You will no longer have to place a stamp on your ballot envelope to return your ballot through the US Mail – We’ve will cover it! You may return voted ballots at any Official County Ballot Drop Box or at any Vote Center in Madera County. We highly recommend that you do not hand over your ballot to a stranger. If you decide not to mail or drop off your ballot personally, only give your ballot to someone you trust.
The back pages of your County Voter Information Guide show the Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations, dates, and hours of operation. AVOID LONG LINES, VOTE BEFORE ELECTION DAY.
DON’T FORGET TO SIGN YOUR BLUE ENVELOPE
Voted ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received within seven (7) days after the Election to be considered timely.
