Coarsegold 4H Meeting at the Lake
The new 4-H year kicked off with a blast this July!
The Coarsegold 4-H Club started strong with a Beginning of the Year Party. In addition to having a great time at Manzanita Lake and eating a delicious potluck dinner, the newest club officers were elected.
Tigerlily King stepped down as Club President, welcoming Adee Fouch into the position, and Kaylee Kroeker has been chosen for Vice-President, the first Coarsegold 4-H has had in two years. The newest Secretary is Bonnie Bodycomb, and Jessica Wahlen and Alistair King are teaming up as the Treasurers. Our Health & Safety Officer is Conley King. Finally, the Reporter is yours truly.
And what has Coarsegold 4-H been up to since August?

Coarsegold 4H Petting Zoo
Well, in September, many of our members participated in the Madera Fair. Some exhibited their crafts and cooking, while others competed in poultry, sheep, and goat showmanship. Everyone had a great time.
Coarsegold 4-H also volunteered at the Mountain Heritage Day at Fresno Flats by providing a petting zoo station.
If you are interested in 4-H, swing by one of our club meetings! They are held at 7 pm on the second Thursday of every month, at the Coarsegold Community Center. Contact email: coarsegold4h@gmail.com
