Sandra Lou Parr Stewart
April 17, 1952 – October 26, 2015
Sandy was born on April 17, 1952, and passed away on October 26th, 2015. She was the baby daughter to Opal and Ray Parr. Sandy and Charlie Stewart were married on April 24, 1970, and had 2 daughters, Jamie Rebecca and Toni Marie Stewart. Sandy attended Fresno State College and earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and ran a successful counseling center, Safe House, in Oakhurst, CA. She helped hundreds of men and women in domestic violence situations, including meeting them at the hospital in the middle of the night and counseling them in the aftermath. She didn’t preach, she gave options. Sandy was one of the kindest people on earth and is still very much missed.
