Lani Lee Marshall

Lani Lee Marshall was born December 25, 1944, in Loma Linda, California. She passed away on February 22, 2023, in Oakhurst, California, due to lung cancer.

Lani moved to the mountain community about 40 years ago and worked at every restaurant venue in Bass Lake, as well as a lot of the surrounding mountain area. In her spare time, she was also a successful painter. She did full wall murals inside entire houses all throughout the mountain area in the ’90s. If you know Jill Cooley and The Tulip House at Bass Lake then you’ve seen Lani’s work. All of that was done by her and the family is very proud that her artwork is all over the world.
Lani was a faithful volunteer and servant of the local community. She dedicated her life to working at Manna House of Oakhurst and speaking life into those less fortunate than us nearly five days a week for 19 years. She had a very strong faith and it was obvious that God shined through her life in everything that she did. She always maintained an attitude of everybody is welcome and worthy of help.
Lani is survived by her loving son Christian Williams.
