We are saddened to announce the passing of Gaye Lynn Lewis on December 30, 2024 of Oakhurst, California. Gaye was a cherished member of the Oakhurst community for over four decades. Born on May 2, 1952, Gaye dedicated much of her life to education, shaping young minds as a teacher at Oak Creek Intermediate in the 1990s and later at Bass Lake Elementary until its closure. Many will remember her commitment to education and the impact she had on her students.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on February 22, 2025, at the Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church in Oakhurst, CA at 10:00 a.m. Gaye will be missed by all who knew her.
