OAKHURST – A car pulling in to the Purple Cow Mall this afternoon crashed through the front of the building when the driver’s foot slipped off the brake, according to CHP.
Susan McCoy, of Mira Loma, was not injured when her 2003 Land Rover drove part way into the building at 39935 Highway 41. There was significant damage to the building.
The accident happened at around 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 5.
Madera County Fire Department Engine #12 responded to the scene along with CHP and Doc’s Towing.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
