Just in time for spring cleaning, the North Fork Transfer Station is offering a free dump day.

Caltrans to Hold Clean California Free Dump Day in Madera

MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 6 will hold a Clean California Free Dump Day as part of the Clean California Community Days event.

Hours of operation may vary due to volume of waste received.

Caltrans will have staff on site to accept household waste and approved debris at no charge.

Now would be the perfect time to clean out the kids’ room!

The following items will NOT be accepted:
  • Treated wood waste
  • Asbestos of any type
  • Compressed gas
  • Hazardous waste such as paint, batteries, oils, flammables, or aerosols
  • Construction waste
  • Concrete
  • E-waste
  • Dirt
  • Tires
  • Household appliances

The event will be open to residents of Madera and Fresno counties only!
