Breaking News – CAL FIRE Responds To Fire Near Tollhouse

TOLLHOUSE , CA. – On May 11th, 2022 around 12:30 pm, the fire, located in the area of Tollhouse and Pittman Hill Roads near Humphreys Station, is being fueled by wind and dry grass, according to Cal Fire officials.

The Sheriff’s Office, Cal Fire and Forest Service are on scene and more resources are on the way.

Evacuation Warnings are in place for the immediate area.  “We encourage residents to begin getting ready to leave should we have to elevate it to an Evacuation Order” says Fresno County Sheriff PIO, Tony Botti.

Fire crews say there are 10 fire engines, a bulldozer, a helicopter, seven air tankers and four hand crews on the scene or en route.

CalFire officials are hoping this fire is under control today, but crews have been notified that the fire could burn into Thursday.
