MARIPOSA — Hey Kids! Are you going to the Children’s Story Concert on Saturday, Mar. 12, at Mariposa County High School, in the Auditorium? It starts at 2 p.m., and it’s FREE, for up to four children who come with one adult. Adult tickets are just $4.
The Children’s Story Concert is part of the Mariposa County Arts Council’s 29th Mariposa Storytelling Festival, March 11 – 13.
Children’s Story Concert featured storyteller, Angela Lloyd, has a special message for you, “Please bring two wooden or plastic spoons (in a sock so they don’t make noise) to help me when I play music for you. Remember to watch me, the story and music director, so I can give you the downbeat to start to play.”
American Sign Language interpreter, Nan Oswald, will also be helping the hearing impaired during the concert.
For ticket and brochure information call the Mariposa County Arts Council at (209) 966-3155 or toll free (800) 903-9936. To order tickets online, download a brochure or learn more about our featured storytellers visit our website at www.mariposaartscouncil.org and our Facebook site at www.facebook.com/mariposastorytelling.
Please note, tickets for the Yosemite Concert on Mar. 13 must be pre-purchased, no tickets will be sold at the door in Yosemite.
