Bass Lake will be hosting their 32nd Annual Fishing Derby on Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th. You can drop your line in the water between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day, and must be registered to win.
This is your chance to angle for a share of the over $55,000 in prize money. There will be two $10,000 rainbow trout and one $5,000 rainbow, plus 150 tagged trout worth $100 each, and 849 more worth $20.
This is a great family event, and what a way to spend the day, fishing on beautiful Bass Lake!
All entrants over the age of 16 must have a valid California Fishing License in their possession. Participants must register by 9am Saturday, May 5th, and pick up a wristband at any of the three Fishing Derby Headquarters: The Forks Resort, The Pines Market, or Millers Landing Resort. Registration fees are $25 per individual or $60 per immediate family.
If the three grand prize fish are not caught during Derby Weekend, they will be worth $500 through June 30th, 2012. Visit www.basslakechamber.com for entry forms and rules.
