O’NEALS—The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire) is reporting several small vegetation fires are burning near Highway 41 and Road 200 (North Fork Road). Firefighters including ground crews and aircraft are on scene. Each fire on Hwy 41 is estimated to be under 1/10th of an acre. The Fire on Rd 200 is approximately 1 acre. We will update this post when more information is available. Traffic on Highway 41 is being affected and redirected. Please avoid the area if possible.

Forward progress has been stopped on the fires on Highway 41.

Traffic is moving Northbound on Highway 41.

All fires have been contained and resources will be committed to mopping up for 2 hours.
All firefighting equipment is off the highway and the roadway will be reopened soon.
