COARSEGOLD–Air and ground firefighters are responding to a structure fire in the Coarsegold area that has also spread into the vegetation. The structure is reported to be a 2000-square-foot workshop that is fully involved with fire. The vegetation fire is 1/2 acre at this time. The fire is visible on the AlertCalifornia wildfire camera here. This is the Douglas Fire on Douglas Road near Road 415.

The vegetation fire has been contained and the remaining firefighters en route to the fire have been canceled.

Ground crews are making good progress and have slowed the spread to the vegetation per the air attack. They are canceling the air tankers that were en route from the Columbia Air Attack base.
