ACT Dog Of The Week: Meet Magpie

The Animal Compassion Team (ACT) foster and adoption Dog of the Week for SNO is Magpie.

“Hi! I’m Magpie or Maggy! My foster mom says I am one goofball of a girl. I’ve been in my foster home for about five months now. I had seven puppies who all got adopted and now it’s my turn!

“As you can see my eye is a little messed up. I am half=blind but that doesn’t stop me. I am house-and-crate-trained and great with all dogs and cats. My eye has been looked at by a specialist and I’ve been told that, since it’s not hurting me, there’s no need to remove it. I like to pretend it’s a marble. eye will always look like this but it’s me. I need someone who will love me even with a bad eye.

“I love toys and to play and hide them. I am such a love bug and would make a great addition to any family. I am about 10 pounds and am full grown. I’m spayed, microchipped and all up-to-date on vaccines. If you think that’s you, please fill out an online adoption application for me or contact my foster mom at (559)267-3607.”

Animal Compassion Team

Animal Compassion Team is a nonprofit animal rescue organization whose goal is to save as many homeless pets as possible. We are volunteer based organization and receive no funding from local government.

We believe that all dogs and cats are as individual as adopters and make great effort to help match your family with the pet that is best suited for you.

Through lifelong commitments and healthy fulfilled lives we believe pets are able to become the best they can be and amazing relationships are built.
