Yosemite Ski And Snowboard Area Opening

YOSEMITE — It’s time for winter’s fun activities — Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area, formerly Badger Pass, is scheduled to open on Thursday, Dec. 20. This includes the Nordic Center.

The Day Lodge, rentals and food service will all open at 8:30 a.m. Lifts are open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. A courtesy shuttle is offered daily to and from Yosemite Valley lodges and the Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area. Snow Tubing and the Terrain Park will open at a later date. We’ll keep you posted.

Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area has groomed trails perfect for cross-country skiers, chairlifts that take Alpine skiers to the top of the runs in minutes, a challenging terrain park for snowboarders and skiers to test their limits, and a tubing area where the whole family can experience the thrills together.

On Tuesday, Dec. 11 this article was amended to reflect a new opening date. Previously it was Dec. 14, now it’s Dec. 20. On Wednesday, Dec. 12, the title of the article was modified to “opening.”
