Traffic Pattern Changes In Yosemite Valley

  • Federal Highway Administration contractors are making alterations to the east Yosemite Valley traffic circulation system that were tested last spring and summer. Stop signs are being removed at both ends of Sentinel Drive and at the Curry Village 4-way intersection (Southside-Northside-Curry Village Drive), and replaced by barricades that will divert traffic into turning lanes or thru lanes. Sentinel Drive will operate contraflow, with vehicles travel in left lanes. Please drive carefully and watch for workers in the roadways.
