Yosemite Football Virtual Badger Card App

OAKHURST – Yosemite Football Boosters (YFB) are excited to introduce the virtual Badger Card App to our Mountain Area Community!

Unlike the previous plastic cards that our boys sold in person, this year’s $20 card is easily downloaded onto a smart phone. Simply download the Zurly app from the App Store or Google Play Store and follow the directions.

Currently, 25 local merchants are featuring deals on the Badger Card.

They include:

Zanders Coffee, Yosemite Smog and Electric Inc., Wild Fig Kitchen, Western Sierra Garden & Gifts , Urban Roots, The Enchanted Florist and Whatnots, Subway in Oakhurst, Steve’s Pet Shop, Solstice Gallery, Sierra Global Tech LLC, Round Table Pizza, Robert’s Frosty, Plazuelas, Pizza Factory Oakhurst, Papa Murphy’s Oakhurst, Oakhurst Giftworks, Me-N-Ed’s Pizza Oakhurst, Glow Juicery, Ec.lec.tic, Eagle Quick Lube, Dulce Sabor, DiCiccos’s Italian Restaurant, Cool Bean Café, Coast 2 Coast Pizza Coarsegold, and City Chics.

Look for the Badger Card Logo in the window of participating merchants as we hope to be adding more and more.

Once the Badger Card is downloaded on the smart phone, the card holder shows the merchant’s deal to the participating business employee to redeem the offer.

The beauty of the virtual card is that unlimited local businesses may be added at any time, giving card holders even more deals. If you would like for your locally owned business to offer a deal on the Badger Card, please text Anne Guynn at 559-760-8244 and she will quickly set you up.

There is no fee to be featured on the card, only free advertising as card holders see your logo as they scroll through the deals.

If you would rather pay cash for your Badger Card, you may purchase a uniquely coded voucher to download the app onto your phone. You may purchase the vouchers at The Enchanted Florist and Whatnots, Round Table Pizza, Steve’s Pet Shop, Urban Roots, and Zanders Coffee.

Our boys, last year’s Central Section CIF Division 5 semifinalists, scrimmage in Firebaugh on January 2 before opening their full season January 8, led by new Head Coach Scott Rold and Assistant Coaches Rob Buhlmer, Clayton Burke, Jim Carter, Tommy DaSilva, Mike Gipson, Alex Gutierrez, Jeff Guynn, Matt Haynes, Brian Johnson, Dan Lutz, and Mike Miller.

YFB will be providing much needed cold weather gear for the boys’ safety. You can help by sharing the Badger Card on social media to your friends and family. If they would rather make donations, they may write checks directly to Yosemite Football Boosters and give to President Mike Gipson, Vice President Maria Eames, Treasurer Anita Johnson, Acting Secretary/Spirit Coordinator Anne Guynn, or Fundraising Chair Jennifer McMechan.

YFB is most grateful to our Mountain Community for your tremendous support of our boys. The virtual Badger Card better assists our community in supporting our local businesses, too.

This is Badger Country!
