Yosemite Campgrounds Close For The Season

YOSEMITE –  As the summer season winds down, campgrounds throughout Yosemite are closing. Here is list of the closure dates for those park facilities:

– Bridalveil Creek campground closed for the season at noon on Sept. 22.

– Tuolumne Meadows campground will close for the season at noon on Sunday, Sept. 27.

– Crane Flat campground will close for the season at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

– Wawona campground will close the B and C loops and return A loop to first come, first served status on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Wawona Horse camp will close for the season on this day as well.

– Hodgdon Meadow campground will return to first come, first served status on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Hodgdon Meadow group camp will close for the season on this day as well.

– Tamarack Flat and Porcupine Flat campgrounds will close for the season at noon on Thursday, Oct. 15.

– White Wolf and Yosemite Creek campgrounds are already closed for the season.

As a reminder, the Pines campgrounds in the valley are still on reservation and still fully booked through October. The Park is taking waiting lists every day and visitors must physically come to their office to get on the list. For current campground status or more information, please call 209-372-0266.
