OAKHURST – The Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau (YSVB) is once again teaming up with Visit California to showcases Yosemite area restaurants during California Restaurant Month.

Four restaurants in California’s Gateway to Yosemite are participating this year, offering discounts on signature dishes.

“California Restaurant Month is a great chance for our restaurants to showcase their amazing dishes,” said Jarrod Lyman of the Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau. The celebration is an annual event each January where Visit California works with local destination marketing organizations, like the YSVB, to highlight the state’s many restaurants.

“We’re lucky here to have a great selection of locally grown season ingredients, and restaurants where the chefs know just how and when to use them,” says Lyman. “This promotion helps remind visitors and locals alike of the great dining options that are here.”

Madera’s The Vineyard Restaurant, a mainstay in that community for decades, will be showcasing their signature lasagna or lamb shanks. Throughout January, if you mention California Restaurant Month you will receive 10% off either of these dishes which will also be specially paired with a local wine.
