YOSEMITE LAKES PARK – Ladies of the Lakes Women’s Club and the Yosemite Lakes Homeowners Association are happy to announce that the YLP Certified Farmers Market will return to the YLP Clubhouse grounds on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. throughout the summer.
This is the second year for the Farmers Market, and organizers are delighted to have one so convenient for YLP residents.
“The Ladies of the Lakes (LOL) are excited to be helping with this event and love that now there are several Farmers Markets in our wonderful mountain/foothill areas,” says Kathy Kunz, publicity chairperson for LOL. “This truly improves the quality of life for everyone who lives up here, giving us more options for healthy eating and more opportunities to socialize, meet new folks and learn about farm products from all over our area.
Opening day will be Tuesday, May 27, at 4 p.m. Rosa Brothers Milk Company of Tulare will be there with their “Scoop Mobile” and D.J. Albert will be rocking the deck.
“This is a fun event, with lots of wonderful farm fresh fruits, vegetables, local honey, olive oil, pickles, Italian ices, goat milk soaps, and a wide variety of other fresh foods and products,” says Kunz. “There will be some craft items and artists as well at the LOL table, plus Bravo vintage label cheese.”
Everyone is invited out for music, food and a fun street fair ambiance.
