OAKHURST — My students are presenting three one-act plays, scenes, and monologues on Friday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. in the YHS Theatre.
We are calling the evening In Process and it includes material that the students will have just taken to the Lenaea High School Theater Festival in Folsom on Friday, Feb. 10 and Feb. 11. This is the largest high school theater festival in California and includes more than 60 high schools.
Students performing in the show on Feb. 17 include sophomore Amber Persson, juniors Bryce Talbot, Tyler Asis, Lauren Wharton, Jacob Pittkanen, Ben Johnson, Jack Rice, Mary Weigel, and seniors Dylan Thacker, Alex Williams, Steve Schumaker, Aaron Arroyo, Evan Morton, Joe Campbell, Elise Keeler, Kendra Tapia, Isabel McGoldrick, Laura Pearson, Sabrina King.
Admission to In Process is free. The actors all come from the Advanced Theater Arts class.
