OAKHURST – Yosemite High School will offer low-cost athletic physicals for YHS students who plan to participate in sports during the upcoming school year.
On Thursday, May 23, at 6 p.m., physicians and medical technicians will be on hand to offer athletic physicals for incoming freshmen and current students who will be playing sports for YHS in the 2013/14 academic year.The cost for a physical is $15 and they will take place in the cafeteria at YHS.
“The physicians who will be volunteering their time are all local doctors and medical technicians,” says Parent/Physicals Coordinator Kellie McConnell. “We will be offering BBQ hamburger or hot dog meals for a small fee for those who are hungry while waiting.”
A fundraising portion of the event is sponsored by the Yosemite Badgers girls’ basketball team.
