The past 20 months through the COVID-19 pandemic has created many challenges for public land managers. Over the past two years, we have heard about these challenges inside Yosemite, but what about the public lands surrounding Yosemite and the greater region? These public land leaders will discuss the unique challenges they faced, worked through, and found solutions for.  Not only with the pandemic, but also with extreme fire danger & fires as well as increased visitation when Yosemite implemented the temporary reservations systems.

Recreate Responsibly California Coalition is a group of more than 40 agencies, nonprofits, outdoor businesses. They are like-minded folks that are focused on solutions, public education, and creating communication and education resources. The group is made up of volunteers and like-minded professional people concerned about our public lands. Attendees include many regional and local public land managers, non-profit leaders, business owners, recreation advocates, and tourism-focused individuals.

Speakers will be announced soon. We look forward to your attendance as well as questions and discussion.
