A failure to yield on a red turn signal resulted in a two-car accident at the intersection of Highways 41 & 49 on Saturday, Oct. 27.

At about 11 a.m. Greg Foster, 63, of Raymond, traveling north on Highway 41 in a 2003 Ford pickup, was waiting at the red light to make a left turn onto Highway 49.Highway 41 and 49 10-27-12

When the light turned green for the two right lanes for traffic continuing north, Foster proceeded into the intersection to make his left-hand turn, even though the light was still red for the left-turn lane, according to the CHP’s accident report.

Foster collided with a 1999 Acura, driven by Mark Rosenblum, 55, of West Long Branch, NJ, who was traveling southbound on Highway 41, according to the CHP.
