NORTH FORK -The North Fork Women’s Club, famous for their delicious food served up at gatherings all around the area, have some special events coming up in the next few months.
Spaces are now available for the North Fork Fall Festival, to be held at the Old Mill Site on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Fall Festival is sponsored by North Fork Women’s Club, and is scholarship fundraiser.
There are two more fundraisers scheduled to raise money for the Women’s Club scholarship fund, including a Bunco event on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 56442 Road 200 in North Fork.
There will be prizes, raffles, and of course Bunco! Suggested donation is $12 presale, and $15 at the door. Donation includes lunch, dessert, and fun!
Last, but certainly not least, is the much-anticipated and always well-attended North Fork Chili, Pie, and Cake cook-off contest on Saturday, Oct. l9, at the North Fork Town Hall, 33060 Mono Road 228.
Vote for your favorites, and enjoy the best of home-made mountain cuisine. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.
