She was rescued from inside a structure at a mini storage facility located on Winding Way in Oakhurst at around 1:30 a.m. this morning.
According to reports, she had suffered a laceration to her face from a pitchfork. Her assailant has been identified as Dennis Lloyd Gandy of Oakhurst. The two are familiar with each other, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Gandy is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has short brown hair and blue eyes. This booking photo was taken in 2013.
Gandy is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and battery.
