OAKHURST – The woman killed earlier today in two-vehicle accident on Road 222 near Pettitt Road has been identified by the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
Haroleen Sue Bowlan, 69, of Oakhurst, died when her Kia sedan drifted over the double yellow lines, according to CHP, and collided nearly head-on with an oncoming Hyundai SUV.
The accident happened just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24.
The accident remains under investigation.
