NORTH FORK — The mountain community is invited to enjoy local wines, hors d’oeuvres and live music by Sugar Pine at “Wine and Cheese in the Garden” on Sunday, May 7, from 2-5 p.m. in the North Fork School Garden.
Tours will be conducted by master gardener Hansel Kern. Child care will be provided at no charge, and you must be 21 or older to attend. An organic non-alcoholic beverage will also be provided.
Tickets are just $10 and are available at the Gnarly Carrot, North Fork School, Spring Valley School and Minarets High School, and will also be sold at the gate.
This event is sponsored by the Chawanakee Children’s Educational Foundation and proceeds will benefit the North Fork School Garden, teacher grants and scholarships.
