Where’s The Dump?

If you don’t have trash pickup at your residence, you need to go to the dump. Here are your choices in Madera County:

The North Fork Transfer Station – (Not a landfill, but a facility for dumping your trash into big trucks that haul it away).

Location: 33699 Road 274, North Fork, Ca (map this location please)

Hours: Thursday through Monday, 9am to 5pm, closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays and major holidays.

Phone: (559) 877-4226

Fees: $4.41 for three 32 gallon bags/cans. $55.13 per ton and a minimum charge of $15.44 for pick-up trucks.

Recycling information for NF Transfer Station.

The Fairmead Landfill

Location: 21739 Road 19, Chowchilla, Ca (map this location please) Just west of Highway 99 at Avenue 22 and Road 19½.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, Saturday 9am to 4:30pm, closed Sundays and major holidays.

Phone: (559) 665-3099

HoHhHourResidential collection services are provided by two exclusive franchise collectors under agreements with the County. Madera Disposal Inc. provides collection services in the valley portions of the County, while EMADCO Disposal serves the Eastern Madera County area.
