What’s Happening In June At Oakhurst Branch Library?

OAKHURST — The Oakhurst Branch Library has scheduled a full calendar of free events for the month of June, including special programs for writers, musicians, preschoolers, parents, book lovers, historians, adventurers, children, teens and seniors. Programs are held at the Library in the Sue Rhu Children’s Room, in the Library Community Room, and at the Oakhurst Community Center.

  • Every Monday 3Pm to 4:30PM, “Writing in the Library” held in the Library Community Room.
  • Every Tuesday 3PM to 4:30PM, “Kamanawannaplaya Ukulele Club” held in the Library Community Room.
  • Every Thursday 11:30AM to 12”30Pm, “Pre-School Story Hour” with craft held in the Sue Rhu Children’s Room
  • Friday, June 1st & 15th 9AM to 10:30AM, “Parenting Book Club” held in the Sue Rhu Children’s Room
  • Saturday, June 2nd – 9AM to 2PM, “FOBL Book Sale” held in the Library Community Room.
  • Saturday, June 9th – 10:30AM to 12 Noon, “Great Sierra Mines w/Tony Krizan” held in the Library Community Room.
  • Monday, June 11th & 15th – 10AM to 11AM, “First 5 Activities” held in the Sue Rhu Children’s Room
  • Saturday, June 16th – 9AM to 2PM “FOBL Collectable Book Sale” held in the Library Community Room.
  • *Wednesday, June 20th & 27th—10AM to 11AM “Children’s SUMMER READING PROGRAM” held at the Oakhurst Community Center
  • *Wednesday, June 20th & 27th—11:30AM to 12:30PM “Teen SUMMER READING PROGRAM” held in the Library Community Room.
  • Saturday, June 23rd – 10:30AM to 12 NOON “How To Avoid Falling” held in the Library Community Room.
