AHWAHNEE – Wasuma Elementary is holding its Kindergarten Round-up on Thursday, Apr. 30, at 8:30 a.m., for all kindergarten students interested in attending Wasuma during the 2015-16 school year.
Students must turn 5 years old by Sept. 1 to be eligible to enter kindergarten or have a birth date between Sept. 2 and Dec. 1 to enter transitional kindergarten.
Please be sure to bring the following paperwork with you on Apr. 30:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Proof of Residence (utility bill)
3. Immunization Records
4. Registration packet (you may pick one up in the office)
You will have an opportunity to meet some of the teachers and specialists as well as learn about the various programs at Wasuma.
The school will be taking names for a waiting list of students who are interested in an intra-district or inter-district transfer to Wasuma.
