Warming Center Location in the Mountain Communities

MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES — The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch for the San Joaquin Valley for sub-freezing low temperatures Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night.
The County of Madera, the City of Madera, and the City of Chowchilla have established the following locations as Warming Centers during times of extreme winter cold. The Centers will be open the days and times of the week as indicated on the list provided below.

Our local Sheriff’s Office Warming Center is located at front lobby in Oakhurst:

The Warming Center will be open from 8 am to 5pm will be open for the public to come in and use as a warming center.
