I love to create something new every time I walk in to my studio. Too many projects litter the tables, and sometimes the floor. I work with fabric, decorate gourds, enjoy making earrings and necklaces. I show a variety of art, which make great gifts for yourself or friends. I am not sure which project I will be working on during “Trails.” Stop by and see.
Featured in four art fiber books including the recent “1000 Quilt Inspirations,” many of my fiber art pieces are in traveling exhibitions. Several of the pieces hanging at Timberline are commentary pieces; others are for the joy of art. My art can be quiet and thought provoking or wild and colorful. There are two pieces showing at the 2015 Madera Ag Art Show at Madera Circle Gallery. There will be a variety of art objects on display at my location for Sierra Art Trails.
We look forward to meeting you when you visit #28 and #27 — Judy Andes, Pastel Artist extraordinaire — in the Sierra Art Trails catalog and in person. We are easy to find on your way up the mountains.
We are blessed to live in the beautiful foothills of Yosemite National Park where so much creativity blossoms.
Sierra Art Trails Open Studio Tour is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 2, 3 and 4, 2015. Click here to order catalog attend.
