Vision Academy Daffodil Quilt Prize Drawing

OAKHURST — Vision Academy of the Arts is continually raising funds for its various enterprises, including free concerts, low-cost children’s arts camps, and generous support of metriculating middle school students and graduating high school seniors.

Now, you have a chance to support one of the organizations that supports the entire community, and you could win a one-of-a-kind prize in the process.

Vision Academy is selling tickets with a suggested donation of $1 each, as they raffle off a unique daffodil quilt, lovingly created and donated by Verla Bingham, longtime resident of Coarsegold. The purpose of the drawing is to raise money for Vision Academy high school scholarships. To date, the nonprofit organization has give well over $150,000 to local students who will study in the creative and language arts.

The Vision Academy Daffodil Quilt made by Verla will be making the rounds of local businesses and organizations where you can see it in person, and purchase tickets. Check the website and Facebook page for locations.
