OAKHURST — If you don’t have your young ones squared away for the next couple of weeks and you’re still looking for opportunities, take heart. Vision Academy of the Arts camp will run for two more weeks at Oakhurst Elementary School. Camp this year runs the weeks of June 20 – 24 with Harmony High. June 27 – July 1 is On the Radio.
Camps are open to students going into grades 2 through 8 in the fall, and run Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or half-day mornings or afternoons.
Each theme is one week long, culminating in a show for parents and friends on Friday at 5:15 p.m. The cost for full course is $150, while half day is $80. Payment plans and partial scholarships are available.
The fee includes professional instruction in Art with Rita Adams, Musical Theater with Jackie Byers, Band with Shirley Lay, Guitar with Kirk Moulin, Writing with Monika Moulin, Dance with Elseanna Skowronski, and a T-Shirt!
Students are required to bring a bag lunch. Snacks are available for .25 cents. Recorder, recorder book and singing books are available for an extra cost.
