Victim Of Fatal Motorcycle Crash Identified

COARSEGOLD – A Coarsegold man who lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Highway 41 last week has been identified as 72-year-old Charles Hamm.

Hamm was southbound on a Kawasaki motorcycle at 1:33 p.m. on June 18, just south of Serpa Canyon, when he failed to notice that traffic was stopped in the road ahead of him.

He collided with a pickup that was stopped in front of him and was ejected from the motorcycle, sustaining fatal injuries. Mr. Hamm died at the scene.
