MADERA – Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1981, cordially invites the public to a fundraising dinner for the 2014 Central Valley Honor Flight on Thursday, Mar. 20, at 6:30 p.m.
Central Valley Honor Flight raises money to fly veterans to Washington, D.C. to view the monuments erected in their honor.
VFW Post 1981 asks everyone to “join in giving back to those who gave so much so that we could be free, and to commemorate their sacrifice in honor of their service to our country.”
Dinner will be corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots, salad, rolls and dessert.
Ticket prices are $10 each or $75 for a table of eight. All proceeds benefit the Central Valley Honor Flight. If you cannot attend but would like to contribute, all donations are gratefully accepted.
