Update | Evacuation Warnings LIFTED for M44, M45, M48 and REDUCED for M24 & M23

Madera County – The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the evacuation warnings for Evacuation Zones M44, Finegold, M45, Veater and Church Ranch and M48 Thornberry Mountain have been lifted. Evacuation Orders for M24 and M23 have been reduced to Evacuation Warnings. Residents in the area need to be aware that there is still a potential for evacuations and need to be prepared to evacuate at a moments notice. Citizens need to monitor the situation and be prepared to take action immediately.These areas are being opened to residents only.
Road 222 between Bass Lake Dam and Road 221. (Evacuation Zone 24)
Road 222 between Road 221 and Road 226. (Evacuation Zone 23)
